The Site

The site is flat and easily accessible. There is room for 10 caravans / motorhomes, partly shaded with the pitches separated by small hedges. Hard standing is available on 3 pitches which can be reserved in advance. The situation is on the edge of a small village in the gently rolling Cognac countryside, with vines and sunflowers in the fields.

 

In 2009, the site is open from 23rd May to 26th September.

Rates per night 2009

Pitch:

- High season - 4th July to 29th August                       €15.00 or £12.00

- Low season - 23rd May to 4th July and 1st-26th Sept:  €12.00 or  £10.00

Additions:

- Adults     €4.50 /£3.50

- Children   €2.00 /£1.50

- Local tourist tax = 30p or 25c per person per night (all children are classed as persons)

- Electric hook up   €3.00 /£2.00

Facilities

- Heated swimming pool with patio area.

- Standard Electric hook-up is available at all pitches.

- The toilet block consists of WCs (standard), washing cubicles and showers.

- A laundry room with washing machine and vegetable preparation area and washing up sink. Chemical emptying point with tap.

- Local shops – the bread van visits each day and the local shops are in nearby villages a few minutes away.  Supermarkets are in the local towns (only 15-20 mins away).

 

Other Information

Dogs are not allowed on the site because of the possible presence of farm animals nearby.  Children are welcome but must be supervised around the pool as this is required by French law.
